What is magnesium oxide board?
Magnesium Oxide Board is a newly kind of construction and decoration board. It is made of MgO, MgCl2, glass fiber cloth, perlite powder and other inorganic materials
What is the feature?
It has the features of fireproof, waterproof, heat insulation, sound insulation, light and strong, and environmental protection.
Where is it used in ?
It can be used in decoration of interior and exterior wall, ceiling, bathroom, kitchen and balcony, shop door decoration, advertisement board display platforms and signboards, wallboards and ceilings for tunnel, and industrial materials and materials for vehicles and boats.
How to fix it ?
1．Cut the board into the size required (about10mm higher or lower than wall).
2．Fix board on the joist with tapping screw; the space between tapping screws is around 200-250mm; the screw is nailed into the board for 0.5mm.
3．Keep about 4mm space between boards.
4．Make the board sealed and fixed from the center to the edge to avoid warp of board due to inner force.
5．Before fixation, glass wool or rock wool can be inserted into joist framework to strengthen sound insulation and waterproof. |
